PHOTOnet - Mothly magazine
PHOTOnet was first published July 1997. From 1998, it is the exclusive member of EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association/www.eisa-awards.org) in Greece for the Photographic Sector (Photo Panel). PHOTOnet is published monthly (15th of each month), 11 times per year, except August. It is the only independent magazine (not a supplement of another magazine or newspaper) in the Greek market that deals exclusively with Imaging. It is addressed in those who want to know every aspect of photography: amateurs – prosumers - professionals. PHOTOnet is separated in 4 different sectors:
1. News and Views: The latest and most interesting news from the all sectors of imaging, plus all the important domestic and international events of the photographic market.
2. Pics Mix: Porfolios and interviews from the most talented Greek and international photographers. Photos from the leading Festivals, Salons and Contests of Photography in Europe.
3. PHOTOnet Lab: Each month we present in depth tests from imaging products: digital cameras (plus their equipment: lenses, flashes, tripods etc.), scanners, printers, all-in-ones, videocameras, mobile telephones, projectors, video games, MP3 players, portable media viewers etc. The tests are made by the members of our special technical staff (all of them are professional photographers) in our in - house laboratory. Furthermore since November 2004, PHOTOnet is the first Greek magazine, and one of the few in Europe, which publishes scientific measurements and tests from Imaging products, with the collaboration of the specialised Institute “Anders Uschold Digitaltechnik” (www.uschold.com).
PHOTOnet publishes in advance special articles about Photoshop with “step by step” instructions for the users in order to improve their knowledge and skills.
4. Information Pages: The evaluation results and the prices from more than 100 imaging products are presented, monthly, to our readers, along with a list of important things that they should check out thoroughly before they buy new products.
