Description
1.1 The main purpose of this guideline is to help the businesses that supply toys in Malaysia to comply with the legislation and requirement imposed by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (MDTCC).
,1.2 This guideline will assist the industry to understand the main features of the legislations and the requirements in order to conform to the prescribed safety standards.
,1.3 Those affected by this guideline should refer to the relevant Regulations for a full statement of the legal requirements and in case of doubt, seek advice on questions of interpretation.
,1.4 The industry is advised to refer to the definitions attached for further understanding on terms being used in this guideline (See Annex A).
